Hey everyone
Just a quick little post about a love of mine, a nail polish.
I've been obsessing over nails recently and this little gem is what I've got on most of the time at the moment.
This is Model's Own Nude Beige and ah I love it.
I'm not a nude fan, I don't like nude polish or lipstick, it's just not my thing, but this... I'm not sure what came over me when I bought this because it's really not my thing but I applied it and I can't stop looking at my nails.
It looks a lot darker in the pot but I don't really mind. I feel this is so chic and sophisticated rather than having a bright pink on.
I have other Models Own polishes and not been too impressed but I love this colour.
I'm going on holiday next week but a very chilled holiday and I'm going to be wearing this all week.
What do you think?
Do you love it as much as me?
xoxo

A few new goodies
Hello
I've been a tad awol at the momement. I've been moving back up North so it's been a little hectic.
I've been abit naughty really with buying new products, I blame this little world to be honest :)
So lets take a look at what I've been buying.
I'll start with ELF. I've kinda been obsessed with elf recently, I am impressed with the quality of such low end products. I picked up the famous powder brush for my foundation and I am loving it :) it buffs in my foundation like a dream and I feel I can use it with any foundation so far.
I also picked up the contouring blush and bronzing powder. This is ok, they are a little too glittery for me, but I've been using these on my sister and she loves them.
NAILS. Oh dear I have been obsessing over my nails wanting them to grow and be beautiful. So I've been on a quest to get the perfect nails. I ordered Trind Nail Repair which I've heard alot about and it's only been 3 days so I can't say too much about it.
I also went to Boots and picked up two products from their own nail line Salon Nail Care, the cuticle and nail moisturiser and the cuticle remover. Both, so far so good. They do the job for a good price so there's not too much praise I can give em.
Last nail product is a varnish from Model's Own and I can't dide if I love this or not. I love the colour of couse but the consistency kinda sucks, it's gloopy and hard to apply and took a lot of my patience. Maybe a more high end brand for this colour.
For Easter as crazy as it sounds I did not recieve any chocolate. I told everyone no I'm trying to be healthy so they stuck to my wishes. My dad however lovely as he is thought he would get me a little pressie instead so he picked me up a MAC lippie.
You probably cannot imagine my excitement when I opened the little box. The colour he actually picked was Ruby Woo which is a cherry red I think. It's gorgeous I feel ever so luxurious with it on, so I think I should let him pick all my MAC lipsticks from now on.
The rest I will try to include in my next favourites cos I want to start doing monthly favourites.
Anyway bye for now :)
Thanks for reading

My everyday make up look
Hello
I've decided I want this to be abit of a regular thing rather than just coming on and blogging randomly.
So anyway I've been trying to come up with lots of ideas because of course I want people to read and see what I have to say.
This is gonna be about the products I use on a regular basis to do my face. I will try to explain it all in as much detail and I hope you like it.
These are my make up staples at the moment, I love how they are working together and also how my skin looks.
I have super oily skin, I've had acne and problem skin since I was about 13 years old, however 2012 already I have seen a difference. I really wanted to get it sorted out once and for all because it's not the nicest thing to have to put up with. I've kind of put my decent skin down to my doctor prescribed tablets and my skin care routine which I think I'm pretty happy with for now.
So first is my foundation, I do use a moisturiser first but I'm slacking with primer at the moment. I'm wanting to get Benefit's porefessional cause everyone seems to love it. During the day I've been using Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation in ivory. This does what it says on the tin, it wakes my skin up or at least looks like it does. The smell does put me off, I like to have fragrance free make-up but never mind. It's about low to medium coverage for me. I like it.
For evening I have been loving Revlon's photo ready foundation. I think this is too heavy for me during the day but I love it for a night out. The colour is too dark/yellow for me so I have been using it with Chanel's blanc de Chanel which is a sheer illuminating base. I love this product it's pricey but I love the finish it gives.
Next is eye primer. I wear eyeshadow every day, I love the effects you can get with it so I like it to last and look flawless all day. For this I use 'Benefit's lemonaid' which is an eye primer. It's a yellow lemony colour, which I've heard people don't like but I love this. The consistency is quite think and creamy so you don't need a lot but I love it.
Next up concealer. I have been using Mac's Studio Finish in NW20, and I pretty much love it. It's a creamy consistency but it hides any blemishes or redness. It's not great for under the eyes but will anything ever be ladies.
Blusher's turn. I love blush, I have spent a good few pennies over the years on blush but only cause I want the perfect blush colour. I swap and change my blush all the time but one I'm loving is Bobbi Brown's Nectar. This is such a pinky colour that looks scary in the pan but I love it. I am drawn to bright coloured blush because I have mastered how to wear it so it doesn't look crazy :).
Finally eyes! I wear eyeshadow everyday but it changes everyday so I can't pinpoint one I am loving at the moment. I have loads of pallets and just pick them to suit my mood or outfit. I do wear liquid eyeliner everyday too. I have been experimenting with liquid liner for years so I've had lots of practice and I have a lot! The one I really like at the moment is Collection 2000 Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner. It's glossy and pigmented and a nib really helps to apply it.
Then is mascara, I did a review about my Elizabeth Arden mascara and I am still loving it. I think I always will.
This is my everyday face for now, sorry about the bad quality, I only have an Iphone camera. Maybe a fancy Canon for my birthday? Hope so :).
Anyway hope you enjoyed and let me see your beautiful everyday faces.
xoxo

Perfume Collection
Hello
Long time no blog, been super busy :).
Anyway I love watching you tube videos it's how I've really got into blogging and beauty, now I'm far too shy and lack a decent enough camera to even try you tube so this is the next best thing. On youtube I always see peoples perfume collections and they are always an interesting yet nosey thing to watch so I thought I'd do mine.
First of all I apologise for the picture of em all, I just wanted you to see.
I love perfume, I think it's such a lovely way for a lady to express herself. I love being able to chat to a girl about her perfumes. I haven't got a huge collection but I can honestly say I wear em all.
My first one is 'Viktor & Rolf' flowerbomb. This is quite a cult product since it's launch and I jumped on the bandwagon pretty quickly. This scent is gorgeous, of course filled with flowers such as freesia, rose and jasmine. This is a strong scent but everyone knows what I'm wearing when I wear it. One thing I'm big with is eau de parfum. I just think it lasts longer on the skin and the scent is more prominent. A gorgeous sexy perfume which I usually save for nights out but this is incredible. (Also I really want my boyfriend to get 'Spicebomb' teehee.
Next in line is Avril Lavigne's Black Star. Now to be honest I hesitate a little when a celebrity brings out a perfume as I feel it's going to be too sweet and a little cheap, oh how wrong I was. This was a nice surprise to open on Christmas day, originally as a joke present from back in the day when I was inlove with Avril Lavigne. This is a strong scent with notes of pink hibiscus, black plum and dark chocolate, but I am kinda inlove with it. I like this for a night out and it lasts forever on the skin. Overall a good little perfume.
Thirdly, a funny little one in my collection is Bronnley's English Fern. Now I was given this by my dad whose company works for Bronnley. This company do some of the nicest products at a great price. I might even do a Bronnley post, anyway the scents are all very simple but strong. This smells of nothing but ferns, therefore you're either gonna love it or hate it. At first I wasn't too keen because it is a little 'old ladyish' but it has grown on me. It's strong but I've had a lot of compliments about it. Very simple but a lovely little gem.
Miss Dior Cherie. My mum bought me this perfume because I was lured in by the fact all my friends had this, but I still love it. With notes of strawberry and tangerine, this is quite lovely. I love this but don't find myself wearing it as often. It doesn't last forever but it is very cute and girly.
Zara Dream is next. Now I've really struggled to find any info on this perfume as I bought it very randomly in a Zara about 3 years ago for £10, but I just adore this. It's very oriental with Jasmine I would guess but I can't be too sure seen as I can't find any record of it's existence. I wear this a lot during the day but I don't want to use it too much because I love it and can't find it anywhere :(. If you find this please let me know because it is just lovely.
Avon's Little White Dress now. This was recommended by a friend who used to work for Avon and it was super cheap so I thought why not. With notes of mandarin, gardenia petals and musk this is just gorgeous. I forgot I had this but rediscovered it when I moved and it's now in my 'Travalo' and comes with me everywhere. Very cute and girly, a nice summer day time perfume.
Last but certainly not least is Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle. I love when a girl says she has a 'signature' scent I love it, I think it's very much a personal thing, and this is most definitely mine. My parents, my sister, my friends, my boyfriend even my dog would say this is Jessie's scent. I have been wearing this since I first discovered it when it was released and my mum had it. I've been wearing this for 10 years and I will be wearing for the next 50. I can't think of anything better and more beautiful than this perfume. I feel so luxurious spraying this on my neck. A real holy grail product that I cannot fault. Love it.
So that's it, quite a hefty post but never mind I like having things to read so why not give em out like that. Hope you like it, let me know your faves and signature scents.

Elizabeth Arden Double Density Maximum Volume Mascara
Good Morning
While enjoying a bowl of ready brek and my glass of tropicana, I thought I would do a review of a mascara. How I came across this mascara, I've no idea. I found it in my sisters make-up bag and she said I could have it and being Elizabeth Arden I wasn't really gonna pass it up. Looking around the big world web, it doesn't seem to be a popular mascara. Anyway I have been trying this out and I love it! I don't think I'll ever go back.
This is Elizabeth Arden's Double Density Mximum Volume Mascara, bit of a mouthful but I just love what this does my lashes.
This is my eyes without mascara, they are a little non existent so I definitely need a mascara that will give them a helping hand.
This is with the mascara. I personally love the effect I think its lengthening and volumising, I almost feel like it adds lashes. The brush is normal bristles, I'm not too much of a fan of plastic bristles so I love love love it. I am still gonna try others but for now this is my go to mascara and for something I found, I'm pretty chuffed.
This retails for £20 everywhere you can find Elizabeth Arden.
Have you tried this mascara?
What do you think?
Bye for now
xoxo

Little lovelies
Hi everyone
I have come across a new skin care brand and I thought you would like to see.
The sizes I have are only samples but I need the normal ones in my life.
My Malin and Goetz range was a gift for Christmas. I am sorry I am not sure where the samples came from.
I have been using these every day since Christmas and they are my new lovelies.
Firstly is this Vitamin E moisturizer. I particularly love this because it is oil free which is always a good thing in my books. This glides onto my skin lovely and there is no strong scent. It is light and perfect for applying under foundation. The full size price for this is £28.43 for 115ml which is a little high end but I think it is worth the price tag. I know this is available at Space NK but also amazon sometimes have it for a good price.
Next is a hand treatment.
Now I'm a sucker for a good hand treatment, owning a fair few. This is ok in my opinion. I use hand cream probably a little too much during the day and this is just not right for me, I tried using it but I just kept switching back to others I have. It made my skin feel tight and uncomfortable rather than soft and smooth as I had hoped. This retails for £12.64 which is too much for me to pay for something I'm not 100% about.
Finally my favourite product.
This is by far my favourite product. I love it so much I have ordered the full size. This lip moisturizer glides on the lips. It is a gel form but so smooth. It doesn't have one of those tastes that is so yummy you just lick it off every time you apply it, (my palmers cocoa butter does that). It is just so nice and I was so impressed with it especially as it is so cold at the moment. This full size retails for £7.58 which is more than your average lip balm but I have to say this is just almost perfection.
Looking on the Malin and Goetz website I was pretty impressed, all the ingredients are listed and it all sounds very scientific, what with all the vitamins.
Anyway I hope this has been helpful and I can't wait to try some more of the products out.
Have you tried any of the products?
What are your favourites?
